Powerful motivational video composed of snippets from Eric Thomas, Ray Lewis, and Les Brown.
Another awesome message from my man, Eric Thomas. Here’s what I took away from ET’s lesson:
1. Consistency is a byproduct of commitment.
The greatest results are born out of the greatest level of commitment – immersion. Until you’re ALL IN, you’ll get nothing out of your enterprise or endeavor.
2. Improvement hinges on your consistency.
Growth happens gradually. There is no such thing as an overnight success. Long term success is cultivated in the field of DAILY habits.
3. The quality of your work will equal the magnitude of your sacrifice.
You will have to give up to go up. You’ll have to give up some leisure time and sleep, spending those precious minutes and hours becoming excellent at what you do. John Maxwell said it best; “people pay for excellence, not average.”
4. Consistency + Quality = Momentum
Momentum will change your life. Momentum is the magic carpet to the dream zone, but there’s really nothing magic about it. It is activated in the lives of those who are willing to pay the price EVERY SINGLE DAY.
So when it seems like there’s nothing happening, stay consistent. When there are no checks, likes, views, clients, contracts, or sales coming your way, stay committed. Don’t be weary in well doing. Keep DOING, and be excited because the carpet is on the way.
And trust me, when it arrives, you will more than make up for lost time.
It’s great knowing people in high places, especially kings! I am blessed to have befriended a King from the Middle East named Solomon. This guy may be the wisest man to ever walk the earth! So you know I’m super proud to call him a mentor. I was reviewing some notes he left for me yesterday**, and I wanted to share a couple of takeaways if that’s okay with you. Hopefully it will help you as much as it has helped me!
Note #1: Wisdom is given to those who HEAR the call.
This is super important for us today. There is so much noise in the air — T.V., social media, satellite radio, iPods, iPhones, Androids, and the list goes on and on! Oftentimes, if we’re not careful, we can drown out important messages with senseless media. Take an inventory of the content that is passing through your eyes and ears and evaluate it for quality and alignment with your goals and dreams. Do the images and sounds support you in your journey, or are they a waste of time and mental space? Get stingy with you brain. Try to use every fiber of your mental muscle to propel you towards your dreams.
Note #2: Wisdom is released to those who seek her EARLY.
For those who talk to me regularly, you know that I am a huge advocate of getting up early in the morning! So I felt a huge rush of excitement when I saw validation from the King’s note. There’s just something powerful about getting up early and starting your day off while most are still snoozing. And I believe that decision is rewarded supernaturally. Eric Thomas, arguably one of the most dynamic motivational speakers in America today, is a major reason that I now look to get a jump start on the day. Do you need a little extra push to make this move? Click here to check him out! Trust me, he will help you! For many of you, this will be the hardest habit to develop, which is all the more reason to do it. When you force your mind to overtake your body, you are headed into miracle territory!
Note #3: Wisdom must be the PRIORITY.
You’re probably wondering, “why all this talk of wisdom?” Please write this down: To get wisdom is to unlock the door to your dreams! Wisdom gives you access to the answers and resources you’ll need to get to your goals. Just as there are many noises that can distract you, there are also many paths that can displace you. Pursuing wisdom means that no billboard will entice you to get off of the highway when you have to get to a date with your incredible destiny. The truth is many never return to the highway from their so-called pit stops. Don’t be deceived; keep your eyes on the prize – to be wise.

Another gem from my mentor for inspiration and mentality, Eric Thomas.
In this video, he challenges us with two critical questions:
How bad do you want it?
What would your life look like if you didn’t count the cost?
You see, there comes a point in life where we have to ask ourselves tough questions like those Mr. Thomas poses.
As I said in my last post, you have to come to terms with who you are and where you are.
Is your commitment to your dream or calling just lip service?
Are you really giving God, your family, your company, and yourself YOUR best?
The fact is only YOU know the answer to this question.
And until you’re willing to give your all, you won’t achieve anything.
That’s how the math works in the world of dreams.
It’s all or nothing. There is no partial credit. And there are no negotiations.
So imagine that starting today, you truly gave life your absolute best.
You acted when you really didn’t feel like it.
You pushed past discomfort.
You got up a little earlier.
You cut back on some T.V.
You let go of some bad habits.
You buried the words NO and CAN’T.
You turned up your intensity.
You truly put your whole self in.
You COMMITTED to do whatever it takes.
Well, don’t imagine any longer; today is the day for you to answer the questions.
